EKF was founded by Mr. William Eng, Ken-Fui, who brings over 15 years of hands-on operational experience in the abrasive supplies and surface preparation industry, having entered the sector in 2008. EKF serves a diverse range of critical sectors, drawing on expertise in Interior Design, Architecture, Financial Analysis, Marketing, and the Research & Development of Industrial By-Products. In 2016, the Group acquired a private limited company, which was subsequently restructured and renamed EKF Industrial Supplies Sdn. Bhd. This entity was formally appointed as the Product Principal for Premier Sharpshot Abrasive (PSA), assuming responsibility for product governance, technical performance, sustainability compliance, and market development. This principal-based operating model strengthened supply-chain control, regulatory assurance, quality consistency, and scalability across Malaysia, the ASEAN and Middle East region.

We are pleased to announce that EKF Korea has successfully upgraded our proprietary Slag Atomizing Technology into a high-tech Rapid Cooling Granulation System. This advanced process optimizes the microstructure of PSA at the molecular level, enhancing particle hardness, density, and structural integrity. The controlled rapid solidification refines grain formation, reduces internal porosity, and produces consistent, high-performance abrasive particles engineered for superior kinetic energy transfer, uniform surface profiling, and extended media lifespan in both dry and wet blasting applications.

Premier Sharpshot Abrasive® (PSA) is now available in two specialized types:

1. PSA Grit (Angular-types) Abrasive

Angular and sub-angular shapes are engineered for more aggressive surface profiling, making them ideal for demanding industrial applications. Production is currently on hold due to a mechanical issue, which is being actively rectified.

2. PSA Sharpshot or PSA (BaLL-types) Abrasive

Round, regular, and irregular particle shapes designed for general-purpose blasting, offering excellent flow, stable performance, and reduced dust generation. We offer a comprehensive range of standard sizes to meet diverse surface preparation requirements:

  • 0.21~0.60 mm (Mesh 30/70), Surface Profile Range 40 ~ 75+ Microns.
  • 0.40~0.85 mm (Mesh 20/40), Surface Profile Range 60 ~ 100+ Microns.
  • 0.50~2.38 mm (Mesh 08/35), Surface Profile Range 60 ~ 120+ Microns.
