The Lin Xiang Xiong Art Gallery at The Light Waterfront is a landmark cultural, educational, and tourism development in Penang. The project involved extensive use of steel structures and high-quality architectural finishes, requiring advanced surface preparation techniques to ensure long-lasting performance and aesthetic excellence.

Role of Premier Sharpshot Abrasive® (PSA):
Premier Sharpshot Abrasive® (PSA), a green, eco-labeled sandblasting abrasive, was selected for all steel surface preparation on this project. Its application provided:

Project Reference: Langkawi Sky Bridge, Langkawi, Malaysia

Year: 2003–2004 (Construction), Opened 27 February 2005

Overview:
The Langkawi Sky Bridge, perched atop Gunung Mat Chinchang, is a 125 m curved pedestrian cable-stayed bridge, painted red for visibility and aesthetic appeal. It offers panoramic views of the rainforest, limestone cliffs, and the Andaman Sea, making it one of Langkawi’s most iconic hill‑top structures.

Construction & Engineering:

• Prefabricated steel segments airlifted by helicopter and assembled at 708 m above sea level.
• Later upgrades included glass-floor sections and the SkyGlide inclined lift for easier visitor access.
• Can safely support up to 250 visitors.

Surface Preparation (Optional):

• Premier Sharpshot Abrasive® (PSA) was used on steel components to ensure optimal coating adhesion, durability, and eco-friendly finish.
